Golem Gear brand acquired by SubGravity

At the just-concluded DEMA Show 2022, SubGravity announced the official acquisition of the Golem Gear brand.

US-based diving equipment company SubGravity has just expanded its product portfolio through the acquisition of the Golem Gear brand. As a result, SubGravity's offer will include recognized and quality equipment for cave and CCR diving.

The official announcement of the acquisition of Golem Gear was made on the third day of the DEMA Show 2022. The whole process is rooted in the long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship between SubGravity and Golem Gear. The companies have supported each other on various levels since SubGravity was founded in 2014. Formally, the whole process began in the first quarter of 2022, but the agreement was not signed until November 3, 2022.

We are extremely excited to announce this strategic acquisition. We are very excited about this exciting transition with new products and projects on the horizon. This important step will allow SubGravity to continue to grow and develop, directly benefiting divers who use the equipment we offer - said Josh Thornton, co-founder and CEO of SubGravity.

The acquisition of Golem Gear is part of the strategy that SubGravity has adopted to continue providing well-designed, durable diving equipment for discerning divers. With this move, SubGravity has expanded its product line and strengthened its relationships with suppliers and customers. As announced, existing customers of both companies can expect more complete product availability, as well as newly designed products and improved customer service.

We are confident that the acquisition will benefit the diving community worldwide. All thanks to the combined power of innovation and exciting new projects in the pipeline - said Jakub Rehacek, founder of Golem Gear.
